"We are very proud to be a supplier to Oyster Marine," said Matthew Campbell, Technical Director at DC Marine. "Their yachts are recognised as the ultimate ‘go anywhere’ cruising yacht design and they set very demanding standards for their component suppliers. I am very proud, for the company and our engineering team, that our expertise is now so widely recognised."

DC Marine not only manufacture rudder systems but also produce high quality new and replacement propellers, propeller shafts, P brackets bearings, couplings etc. Their customers range from high value motor cruiser and yacht manufacturers to boat owners and boat yards looking to repair and restore existing boats. Brimbelow also manufacture stern gear for the commercial boat and charter market and supply the biggest operators in Europe.

"A lot of our work is bespoke designs," said Matthew. "However, we do also produce a range of standard components for stock so that we can respond quickly to customer demand where possible. We now have very well equipped workshops and a talented engineering team, so we are capable of almost anything that the marine industry requests."

DC Marine continue to work closely with many of the Norfolk Broads and European hire fleets supplying parts for new and existing boats. Brimbelow also supplies Norfolk 'classic' yacht builder Colin Buttifant. Colin Buttifant designs and builds new versions of the traditional classic Broads ‘Gaff Rig’sailing boats. In recent years these boats have proven very popular with Broads’s sailors for both their charm and their exceptional sailing ability.
